Logic Trends, Inc.  has been named a Rising Star in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 program for Georgia.  The Rising Star award is a special designation for fast-growth technology companies that have been in business just three or four years and is part of the Georgia Technology Fast 50 program, which ranks the 50 fastest growing technology companies headquartered in Georgia.  Rankings are based on percentage revenue growth over three years (2002-2004).

This year’s Georgia Technology Fast 50 program is co-sponsored by Deloitte & Touche LLP, Kilpatrick Stockton LLP and TechLinks and is presented in association with the Technology Alliance of Georgia (TAG).

Logic Trends is a recognized leader in the area of Enterprise Architecture, with strategic focus on integrated solutions including Security and Identity/Access Management. Logic Trends knowledge and understanding of the IdM space, client needs and challenges, coupled with the  Logic Trends IAM5 process provides significant value  to customers and partners to recognize the value an IdM program presents, especially in the role of Sarbanes-Oxley and other regulatory compliance requirements.

“The Deloitte Georgia Technology Fast 50 Rising Star companies have shown the strength, vision and temerity to succeed despite a very challenging technology environment,” said Thomas McNulty, Partner, Deloitte & Touche LLP in Atlanta.  “We applaud the successes of Logic Trends and acknowledge their place as one of the few to accomplish such a fast growth rate over the past three years.”

"We are honored to be recognized by Deloitte and Kilpatrick Stockton LLP and TechLinks for our strong performance," said Ken Stone, Managing Partner of Logic Trends “Our continued growth can be attributed to our relentless pursuit in our clients and partners achieving their tactical and strategic business goals.”

To qualify for the Technology Fast 50 Rising Star program, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2002 and $1,000,000 in 2004, be headquartered in North America, and be a “technology company,” defined as a company that owns proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology.  Using other companies' technology in a unique way does not qualify.

Rising Star winners are automatically entered in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 Rising Star category.  Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 program ranks North America’s top 500 fastest growing technology companies based on percentage revenue growth over five years (2000–2004).  Its Rising Star ranking is based on percentage revenue growth over three years (2002–2004).
